The 100 Day Project - Week 11 & 12

Completely forgot about my blog last week. It’s time to catch up. I’ve decided to change things up a bit on how I present my drawings on my blog. Learning creating my website as I go along. I like this gallery look better. Here are days 66-77, I think. Doesn’t matter. I’ve been practicing perspective a few times these last 2 weeks. It’s not easy. Day 68 was definitely not easy for me with this bridge. Yesterday I finally kind of “broke free” from references. In the back of my mind I always think in order to keep learning to draw/paint I have to draw what I see and not go on a tangent. So the last one, day 77, the boat, I left out all the other boats and the dock. I painted the water more turquoise. I hope to keep going in that direction for the rest of the project.
